Toolbox is designed to process user input and selected files in the current browser whenever possible. This policy explains the storage, third-party services, and contact information handling used by the site.

Local Browser File Processing

Image, PDF, and audio tools process local files selected by the user in browser memory. The site does not use a server upload workflow, login system, or database storage for these tools.

Some audio tools may download FFmpeg WASM runtime files from an external CDN. The image format converter and the EXIF & Metadata Editor may download HEIC/HEIF components from jsDelivr only when needed. These downloads are runtime library files; your selected audio or image files, EXIF/GPS metadata, and generated results are not sent to the CDN.

Text and Calculation Inputs

Inputs for tools such as character counting, JSON formatting, calculators, and converters are used in the browser to produce results. The site does not store these inputs on a server or connect them to an account.

localStorage

The site may store `mfwtools_bookmark_prompt_hidden_until` in localStorage so the bookmark prompt stays hidden for 30 days after dismissal. This value does not contain file content or tool input. It can be removed by clearing site data in the browser.

Google Analytics

Depending on the site's operating status, Google Analytics may be used. In that case, page usage data may be processed according to Google's policies. If analytics is not in use, the related script may not be loaded.

Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies

The site may apply for or use Google AdSense. When AdSense is enabled, Google and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. When ad placements are disabled, empty ad areas and ad labels are not displayed. However, the Google advertising script may still be loaded for AdSense site verification or preparation of advertising features.

Cloudflare and External CDNs

The site may be served through static hosting such as Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process information needed for security, caching, and infrastructure logs. Some features may load library or codec files from external CDNs such as jsDelivr and esm.sh. When Noto web fonts are selected in the image watermark tool, Google Fonts may load the required stylesheet and font files. These providers may receive ordinary request information such as IP address, User-Agent, and request time. User files and watermark text are not uploaded to external conversion APIs, CDNs, or Google Fonts.

Contact Information

If you contact the site by email, your email address, message, and issue details are used to respond and troubleshoot. Unless a separate retention period is required, unnecessary information should not be kept after the inquiry is handled.

Your Choices

You can clear cookies, localStorage, and site data in your browser settings. Ad personalization can be managed through Google ad settings and browser privacy controls.
